DAY 11: BE THE CEO
 

So you are an Emerald and that is fantastic, but becoming a successful leader takes a real commitment from you. It's more than filling out a diamond chart and dreaming up your team. It's about hitting one goal and looking to the next.  It's about taking what you learn and are having success with or have figured out, and helping your coaches duplicate it for themselves.

It's imperative that you view your business opportunity as a real business and considering yourself the CEO.  That means releasing any FEARS around invitations, judgements, or anything else.  WHERE FEAR EXISTS, GROWTH DOES NOT.

Ask yourself:
Are you acting like a CEO or an administrator?  Or another way to put it, Are you treating your business like a business or a  hobby?  You must take ownership—it’s not your upline Coach’s fault if something doesn’t go well—it’s YOUR business—OWN IT! There are always going to be bumps in the road—it’s business—this just happens. The second you get caught up in the negativity or blaming others or let fear get in the way, you will start to sink your own ship.

< Example, Something on back order, your upline does something you don’t like—and you start to chatter along with other people—guess what, you create a sense of upheaval and discord. You are the victim and no longer the advocate.  This will stunt your growth massively. >

So it is up to you how you proceed as your own CEO.  While your sponsor and upline can provide you with multiple resources for you to tap into, its' up to you to learn the skills you need to become successful.  You have to take responsibility.
